Dozi Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

Dozi is designed to keep your bedtime routine private. We do not operate user accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud storage, and we do not collect personal data from the app.

Information stored on your device

Dozi stores your preferences, routines, sound mixes, bedtime reminders, thoughts, recordings, breathing activity, and optional morning check-ins locally on your device. This information is used only to provide features you choose to use. It is not transmitted to Dozi or sold to anyone.

Microphone and notifications

Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record a personal sound. The recording remains in Dozi's local app storage. Notification permission is requested only when you enable reminders; reminders are scheduled locally by your device.

Sharing and exports

Dozi sends information outside the app only when you explicitly use the system share sheet to export it or select an audio file using the system document picker. The destination you select has its own privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

Your information remains on your device until you delete it in Dozi, remove the related mix or recording, or uninstall the app. You can export thoughts from Settings before deleting them. Because Dozi does not receive your information, we cannot retrieve it or delete it remotely.

Third parties and tracking

Dozi contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. Apple may process App Store downloads and device services under Apple's own privacy policy.

Children

Dozi is not directed specifically to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. For privacy questions or support, visit the Dozi support page. You can also read our Terms of Use.
